About the teacher section

As a verified teacher, there are a number of functions to simplify working with a class.

• An overview of which sections the students in the class have completed
• Review and comment on individual students' solutions
• A page where you can see which students need help
• Create student accounts for an entire class
• Change passwords for your students

Note that Pythonlab.dev only supports one teacher per class. If you are several teachers, it is best to share a teacher account. It is possible to be logged in on more than one computer at the same time.

For each class, there is a matrix that shows which students have completed which sections. The image below shows a small example.

Create student accounts for an entire class

To simplify the process of creating accounts, there is a function to create many accounts at once. There is no requirement to use real or full names or real email addresses when creating an account. It is perfectly possible to let the system create email addresses in the form name@school.pythonlab.dev. The teacher can also have all (simple) passwords created automatically. If the password is lost at any time, it is also possible for the teacher to easily change a student's password.
